Real Talk Workshop @Davis
Friday May 13th 2022
Open to 5th & 6th grade girls*
Our workshops create a safe and welcoming space to connect with peers, share "real talk", and get creative. We offer practical wisdom to help girls bond with peers and mentors who value authenticity, joy and togetherness. We will share circle talk, work on an art project, take hang out breaks, and share pizza dinner.
- Friendship & Belonging
Facilitated by Emily Frost, Quetzal Francois or our Apprentice, Isabella Masterson.
Workshops or workshop series are designed for for pre-teen and teen girls* between 5th-12th grade.
Workshops can also be designed for mothers and daughters together. In the past this has included more of an art focus, such as mask-making, vision boards, earth chimes, or seasonal crafts.
Workshops are typically 3 hours.
Cost depends on time, location, and group size.
We offer payment tiers and lower cost options whenever possible.

*We understand gender identity to be fluid and expressed in many ways. Our programs welcome teens who are assigned female at birth and/or are female identified. Please see our extended gender inclusive policy
"We are teaching girls how to have experiences that end in joy and honor, rather than regret, guilt, or shame. Youth need to understand what joy and regret really look like for them. We need to 'reflect and revise' what really matters. This work is so important, and I totally recommend working with Emily."
- Charis Denison, youth advocate, founder of Prajna Consulting & featured in Peggy Orenstein's new book Girls & Sex
"We need to be talking about balancing responsibility and joy, not just risk, disease, pregnancy and consent. Sexuality can be a source of self-knowledge, creativity and power. It can be safe, free from violence and dehumanization. We must encourage girls to have a voice. We must support intimate justice." - Peggy Orenstein, author of Girls & Sex
