What do youth want and need? How can we support them?

Young people deserve help finding their authentic self and the courage to walk with purpose, resilience and love. Real Talk Davis holds a safe space to share honest conversations, make meaningful connections, and seeds essential life skills to help pre-teen and teen girls* make choices that truly serve them. This is a space to bond with peers and mentors who value being real, together. Our aim is to offer a light in the darkness, and uncover some wisdom, joy and community amidst uncertain times. We hope you'll join us!

BUTTERFLIES GROUP

• 8th grade girls*
• 10 Gatherings Fridays 4:30-7:30pm
• Dates: 9/27, 10/1, 11/15, 12/6, 1/10, 2/6 (Th), 3/7, 4/4, 5/2, 6/5 (Th)
• Hosted in West Davis
• Facilitated by Isabella Masterson
• Intro call with parents & caregivers available before group start.
• Rising 8th graders welcome. If you feel like your daughter is a fit but isn't a rising 8th grader, please apply.
• This series is meant to be an inclusive, intimate group for a limited number of participants.

ISABELLA MASTERSON is a graduate of UC Davis, double majoring in Psychology and Human Development with a minor in Asian American Studies. During the school year, she worked at the university Sexual Violence Prevention office creating curriculum and working to educate the campus community on how to prevent sexual violence. Isabella has pursued working in youth residential treatment centers since graduation. She will begin her graduate studies at the Wright Institute in Fall 2024.

She has been in one of Emily's groups since 6th grade, about 12 years. It is one of the best spaces she has ever had the honor of being a part of and cannot recommend it enough!
