ISABELLA MASTERSON is a graduate of UC Davis, double majoring in Psychology and Human Development with a minor in Asian American Studies. During the school year, she worked at the university Sexual Violence Prevention office creating curriculum and working to educate the campus community on how to prevent sexual violence. Isabella has pursued working in youth residential treatment centers since graduation. She will begin her graduate studies at the Wright Institute in Fall 2024.
She has been in one of Emily's groups since 6th grade, about 12 years. It is one of the best spaces she has ever had the honor of being a part of and cannot recommend it enough! CORALIE BORDER is a college graduate, writer and creative. She received B.A.s in Sociology and English (creative writing) at UC Davis in 2023, where she also worked as an academic advisor and journalist. Coralie is currently employed by the De Young Museum in SF, and is pursuing a path in creative writing. She has been a part of the Love Your Nature community since she joined a group in her youth. She has helped mentor teens at Summer Retreat for years and co-led the Davis Teen Group 2023-24. Some of her passions include mental health, queer empowerment, visual arts, poetry, and music. These workshops are connected with Love Your Nature's East Bay Teen Groups. These awesome groups meets monthly for the upcoming school year. Families are welcome to enroll in just the workshop to check us out, or enroll with the intention to join the upcoming year.
Workshops and ongoing groups are developmentally (age and stage) appropriate for youth in or around 7th-9th grade. We will focus on the above themes as best serves the group, striking a healthy balance between depth and fun. Have more questions? * Please consider making a difference in a teen’s life through our “Pay It Forward” option, which includes gifting an additional amount towards teens in need. We are committed to making our programs available to all teens, including those for whom our rates are a financial barrier. In order to do that, we offer scholarships to as many teens as possible. In 2023, $40,000 in tuition assistance was given. We are an LLC receiving no grants or funding beyond tuition and individual contributions.
