Program Details

We offer a girls group experience aimed at creating a space for all girls to feel welcome, safe, and connected. All groups are facilitated by both Emily & Quetzal. Our program is designed to be a school-year long commitment, so ideally the same group of girls stay together for one or more years. We do welcome enrollment throughout the year, but prioritize those able to start in September. Our hope is girls will participate fully, attending all or as many gatherings as possible.

We also hope parents will attend the parent meetings, spread throughout the school year. Parents who engage in the circle with us feel less alone on the parenting journey, gain useful skills and are nourished by the shared conversation. We have noticed a positive impact on the whole family, when everyone shows up to the program.

East Bay Younger Group
Girls 9th-10th grade*
10 Gatherings  ::  4 Fall (Sept-Dec)  +  6 Spring (Jan-June)

• Meetings are once per month, 5:30-8:30pm on Thursdays :: Hosted at private home in Berkeley, CA.
• FALL :: September 19th, October 10th, November 7th, December 5th
  SPRING :: January 9th, January 30th, March 5th, April 16th, May 7th, May 28th

+ Spring Mini Retreat (all groups, girls only)​

• 4 hour mini-retreat Sunday April 26th @ Marin​, Details TBA

+ 1:1 Teen Mentoring Session

• 1 hour, in Berkeley or digital**

+ 3 Parent Meetings​

• October 24th, January 23rd, April 30th :: All Thursdays from 6:30-8:30pm @ East Bay (parents only)

+ Invitations to additional events throughout the year

* Grade may vary. Our goal is best fit. We have made and are open to making exceptions per mutual agreement.
**Our goal is to offer in-person sessions during the school year in Berkeley, however we do offer digital sessions if scheduling proves too difficult.

Cost

Girls Groups meet September 2019 through June 2020.
Charges for all girls groups begin September 1st, 2019.
Cost $2,250 for the entire school year.
Pay in full or via monthly payments ($225/month)
(Scholarships available, please inquire)

What Is The “Pay It Forward” Payment Option?
We believe that all teens should have access to these important conversations, including those for whom our rates are a financial barrier. In order to do that, we offer scholarships to as many teens as possible. Please consider making a difference in a teen’s life through our “Pay It Forward” option, which includes gifting a little extra towards a scholarship to another teen.
