Our "home base" will be Roy's Redwoods for much of the year. Drop off will be at pull out along the road where W. Nicasio Rd. meets Nicasio Valley Road.
Caitlin will email the group before each meeting confirming location and what to bring. Please make sure to check for updates and pack lists, especially regarding daylongs and overnights. Overnights will include a separate prep/pack list.
On rainy days, wonderful mama Miranda has offered her home on the border of Fairfax and San Anselmo. Thank you Miranda! Caitlin will be coordinating location changes month to month.
What to Bring
Caitlin will email the group before each meeting confirming location and what to bring.
- Wear comfy clothes and bring warm layers. We will be meeting mostly outdoors so dress for the possibility of heat, cold, bugs... Check the weather.
- Blanket (+pillow or fluffy cozy thing if you like) to make a comfy nest.
- Backpack with water bottle, journal & pen.
- Food to share. We will always take a shared snack break, however your teen might need their own food packed just for them. Thanks for helping them navigate food needs. Examples of shared snack: popcorn, apples, grapes, chips, cookies, tangerines, case of sparkling waters, etc). Bring anything you'll need to serve. Anyone who is not comfortable with this is welcome to do food their own way, zero judgment. Please remind us of food allergies.
Health & Safety Guidelines
In order to host the most awesome, intimate, connected group possible, we are creating guidelines for what we feel is appropriate to keep our group fun and safe. We will update these requests as we feel is appropriate.
Our group will be held without masks, unless you have checked in with us about a specific reason to wear one. In some cases a teen or facilitator might wear a mask to be extra cautious, but our general intention is to hold a group without masks. Please wash hands regularly and bring hand sanitizer. Do what you can to stay healthy and enjoy the group safely.
Anyone who has been sick, has been in contact with someone who is sick or who has tested positive for COVID-19 should check in and possibly need to stay home. In all situations, please let us know so we can make a decision together.
