As an integral counselor and bodywork practitioner, I do my best to treat the whole person, not just symptoms.
My hope is that by being present and authentic with a client, choosing to care for them, and unconditionally love them, that they will be relieved of some suffering and their inner light be polished by our time together.

Bodywork sessions include gentle, supportive and nurturing hands-on manual techniques that facilitate energy flow and the body's natural healing process.
Tui Na / Qi Gong Massage is an active style of massage that disperses stagnation and opens the joints. Receiving a Yin Tui Na session specifically nourishes the blood, nourishes the yin, and calms the spirit. This means addressing physical pain, internal issues and conditions, and the spirit. As a result, blood circulates freely and every place in the body can benefit from its warming and nourishing function. In this way, the whole body opens, and every part of the body landscape can feel light and at peace.

I have been studying at the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CA since 2008, when I began practicing qi gong. My training at the Acupressure Institute included 300 hours of classes focused on Tui Na, Emotional Balancing, Body Psychology, neuromuscular techniques and Yin applications of the work. Before that, I completed 150 hours in the energetic art of Reiki, including Reiki I, II, Reiki Master Training and Karuna Ki level. I also have certifications in mindfulness and mindfulness education from Mindful School and the Mindfulness Education Insitute. My studies have included workshops in other healing modalities around CA, at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, and have focused on educating children and adults in these practices.

Modalities Studied:

Interchange Counseling Institute
Tui Na - Qi Gong / Meridian Massage, an active style of massage focused on the structure of body stress and muscle tension.
Acupressure - Gentle touch using meridians and acupressure points to bring health, vitality and flow to the system.
Emotional Balancing - Specific acupressure flows and attitudes
that include techniques to reduce anxiety, depression,
and support improved decision making.
Body Psychology - How the external body reflects the internal state.
Reiki - Profound Japanese healing technique working with the body's life force energy. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress. If it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
Jin Shin Jyutsu - An ancient Japanese healing art like acupressure, of harmonizing the life energy in the body, known as 'The Artless Art of Knowing (Helping) Myself'.
Release Technique - A process of removing negative blocks that prevent us from living a fulfilling life of ease and abundance.

May all beings be happy. May all being be healthy. May all beings be peaceful.
